¡Hola! My name is Veronica, and come from Venezuela. Canada welcomed me 5 years ago, as I was finishing my studies in tourism. Now, I’m living in Toronto, and I’m very excited to show you my city.

Living in Toronto has allowed me try and like the many different foods that can be found everywhere in the city.   My favourite food discovery has been Japanese food.

I really enjoy going for walks and exploring my city. My favorite spots in the city are Toronto’s harbourfront and the Toronto islands.

I’m looking forward to showing you Toronto and helping you find some really great spots that you will like.

Hi, I am a life long resident of Toronto.  What I love about this city is the diversity and the ability to experience such a variety of cultures, especially how it translates into such an assortment of different restaurants and foods in the city.

I can usually be found in the University of Toronto, but when I emerge from under the pile of books, I like to wander and explore the city.

Although I have lived here all my life, I am constantly discovering new places to eat, unique bars, cool shops and fun parks.

I love the excitement and pride Toronto has for its sports teams (Raptors, Leafs and Jays).   You can feel the excitement in the city when the teams are doing well.  The Toronto Blue Jays definitely have a special place in my heart.

From the non-stop events going on around the city to the vibrant nightlife, Toronto never ceases to amaze me. My love with the city began during my first years of college in the west end where I completed my culinary degree. Shortly after, I began to work in multiple restaurants around Toronto until I landed the position of Head Chef at a local sushi bar. My passion is cooking but during my off time I like to escape the kitchen and embrace the great outdoors. During the summer, I compete in downhill mountain biking competitions up north and in the winter seasons I spend my free time snowboarding at my local ski resort where I also teach skiing lessons. My city of Toronto is one of Canada’s national treasures and I can’t wait to show you what it has to offer.

A few years back, I took a walking tour through Berlin with a local guide.  That tour was so informative and fun, that it left a huge impact with me, to the extent that started my own tour company.   I have called downtown Toronto home for the past 30 years, and have seen the incredible changes to the skyline, the huge growth which has taken place and the new vibe which Toronto has.

I have travelled the world with some of my previous positions, but was always proud to call Toronto home.

My degree is in urban geography with many of my university papers being written about the physical and social growth of the city of Toronto.  I love showing people my town and love learning about the places our guests come from.

Both myself and the team at Buzz Tours look forward to taking you on our tours of this great city we call home.
